Hi Chris
My wife and I have been invited to the University of Chiang Mai, Thailand, for august 4 - 11th for an academic conference on Indigenous Issues. We want to fly from London, Detroit, or Toronto to Bangkok, Thailand. From Bangkok, we understand that rail travel is most economical. So, we would take the train to Chiang Mai rather than fly. We want to leave early enough to arrive in time for the conference. Our budget for air travel is $4,100. Our ground transportation budget is $100. So, we are hoping we can get to Chiange Mia by train for $100. Please advise the most economic option for an itinerary.
