Jason second this one. Stayed there with family a couple years ago. They had a blast (kids aged 8 and 10).
Wendy
Paradise Village in Nuevo Vallarta fantastic for families and lots of activities for kids.

Cuba! Holguin area. Farm/rural area. Hour bus from the Holguin airport was our resort. Sol Rio de Lunas y Mares (it’s a Melia). AMAZING place and people. Backs to the Dolphinarium where you can catamaran/bus there and swim with them with lobster lunch for very good price. Awesome beach! Horseback riding onsite. Great area!
Cuba!

We loved Marina El CID. Nice, small resort. I believe you can do connecting rooms. We had a room with 2 beds and a Murphy bed. 5 people.
Tracy
Rochelle we have also been there and loved it!!!
Jana
Hualtulco!! Las Brisas Resort awesome for all ages kids, Dreams Resort a little more Americanized. Beaches at Las brisas are calm and they have a coral reef you can snorkel at.
Maja
Dreams Puerto Adventuras and Sandos Caracol are family friendly and have rooms for families of 5
Ronay
Cancun - sunset marina!
Shayna
The sandos caracol eco resort was amazing for a family of 5. The family rooms have a separate bedroom with the bunk bed/trundle in it. I was worried about my son being on the top bunk so the resort brought in a separate single bed for us at no charge. The kids room also had their own bathroom, couch and tv. Lots of space for everyone.
Audrey
Riu Dunamar in Playa Mujeres, Cancun. They have connecting rooms and Splash Waterslides. Very secluded area. Close to airport.
Cheryl
Sandos Playacar! Great beach, resort and staff are awesome!
Teri
Another for sandos Caracol. We were there last year with our daughter as 3 grandkids ( 5,7,9) and they loved it
Amanda
Dreams Dominicus DR. We did 2 weeks there. Small, everything was amazing! It’s only a couple years old. I’d go back 100% which says a lot haha

We just stayed at the iberostar paradiso lindo in the Mayan and loved it!

Looking for suggestions for a resort:
-Mexico-Caribbean side
-All inclusive
-Family of 5
-Prefer connecting rooms
-Small resort
-Somewhat excluded (not on a “strip”/hotel
Zone)
-Air Canada flights (but don’t make this a priority in your suggestions)
So many resorts are maximum 4 occupancy. A large percentage of families are more than 4. So frustrating!
