I was told that booking a night at one of the airport hotels would provide an option of one week free parking. Yet, looking at hotels on various apps, it appears that there are daily fees for parking. Anyone have some info on this? My husband is driving to Calgary and flying out the next day, for two weeks. He will require a hotel room for when he departs and returns. Thanks!

They charge additional if you leave your car there.. I live in Calgary and have looked into it (around $8 a day). Sky view parking is another option

Mihaela Karen do not park at SkyView you might save some money but they only have 2 shuttles. When we returned from Vegas we sat in shuttle for 20 min until shuttle has full for them to leave for parking lot which is another 20 min drive from airport.

Not all do this, it used to be common many moons ago (we did it often) now many airport hotels have packages that include parking or offer a rate to leave your car. In sept we stayed at the Clique hotel the night before a flight & left out car there fir 2 weeks @ $5/day, they had a shuttle that took us to the airport & picked us up when we got back.

You have to call the hotel to book to get the free parking as part of the room.

Check Best Western Port O’ Call on McNight Blvd N.E. They have airport shuttle too. Our friends have left their car their too in past years.

Ann I’ve stayed there and left my car for a week with no extra charge.

Ann they don't have shuttle service anymore, they make you take an associated taxi and pay the driver when they drop you off at the hotel. Last time when my flight landed it was so crowed that took forever to get a cab, also we needed a van with booster and we were stranded waiting for one, I wouldn't recommend this option.

Clique has one night stay and 14 days parking, plus two drinks for $169.

We recently stayed at Clique hotel one night & then parked our vehicle for 18 days. Worked out to $217 with taxes & all. Had a package including 2 weeks parking & added 4 days at $5/day.
Also, someone on here gave us the tip to buy gift cards from Costco. Can get $100 for $80. Saved us another $40.

Just got off the phone with Clique. They’ve raised the parking rates from $5 to $10 per night.

we always stayed at holiday inn on Mcnight blv.. long as you book one night stay , you can leave vehicle there up to 2 weeks with there park and stay booking

Just to clarify, booking at an airport hotel may get you a week's free parking at the hotel, not the airport's parking lot.

Most do have fees. All the ones near the airport where we stayed did. We also do the park2go. It worked well. We stayed at Acclaim and Applause. Cost was $7 per day. But that was three years ago.

all hotels advertise free parking but it is only on the nights you occupy a room. Rate for long term are $ 5.00 & up. Highly reccommend Skyview .

The radisson has free parking for a week if you stay there

Go to a park and fly. Our truck got broken into and the hotel didn’t know anything until the Calgary police told them. We had to stay an extra night in the hotel and at our expense have a new window installed. Plus pay for leaving the truck in their “secure” lot.

In Calgary? If you're very lucky, you might get ONE night of free parking.

Park Sleep and Fly..you choose to stay either at the beginning of your trip or the end. They have a selection of hotels who participate

I just booked park2go - 10 days - $129 with AMA membership. $149 without. Lots of shuttles, quick to get you to and from airport, your vehicle is brushed of, running & warm when you get to it.

I stay at the Hilton garden inn. On Pegasus . They have a shuttle to and from the airport and I believe parking is $7 a night

We always stay at either hotel clique or acclaim. Same hotel, right at the airport. Free parking for when we are in Mexico, free shuttle to the airport & great rooms!

We always stay at the Wyndham Garden Inn. It's around 160 for parking and nights stay. That's wldor seven days.

Try executive residency, now owned by best western. $20 for week of parking (outside).with nite stay going and returning. Free shuttle too

Look at Stay and Park. Clique Hotel is part of it and we did one month of parking, had the option of 1st or last night of hotel room. $145 for the complete package.

Clique hotels, call them direct. We stay there every year when we head out on holidays. Did it last month. Room was 135 nightly with 2 weeks free parking. If you need more than 2 weeks,they charge you 5 bucks a night.

Maryse Nadeau Beeney thanks, I did call and booked with them however they are now charging $10 per night for extra parking unless we booked their package of one night and two weeks parking $176 plus tax.

My hack for Calgary and locals is to hire a limo to take you to the airport. Flat rates too…

Holiday inn on freeport is $7 per night so $49 per week, we chose to park at the airport for convenience, cost was $155.
