Spent 2 weeks at the most magical vrbo on Beacon Hill. Quincy Market is a must see; walking Newbury Street; Harvard Campus (free tours) ;public gardens; the bean town trolley ; sail the harbour. And such great food! I will send you apt link. It's 200 feet from the subway in a historic brownstone

Harbour area is great to walk around - the 'freedom trail', Paul Revere's house etc. You can take an amphibious tour (even if they are bit a cheesy, can be fun!) The central Public Library building downtown is breathtaking, and the cathedral right across from it as well (ahh, can't remember the name offhand.) I took a day and went to Cambridge, and toured around the Harvard campus - it houses many small but cool museums and collections. Fun to check out. The Isabella Stewart Gardiner museum is definitely worth a trip, and the MOMA Boston is so, so great.

Science Centre......Aquarium...depending when you're going, take a picnic to the beach...use the bike drivers when you can...take a walking tour down by the harbour and learn a little history...grab some grub around Boston Common...take a walk around the grounds and read signs on properties nearby-more history. Lots to do for sure! Hotel concierge should be able to help. Have fun!

MIT and Harvard, also Harvard Square. Walk freedom trail too little Italy. Fenway park and some great museums. Some nights admission to the museums are by donation as opposed to set price if you are tight on funds.

Check out the Cheers bar, the water tour, Isabella Stewart Museum. Stayed at a wonderful Inn in Brookline (forget the name), that is on the train line, goes right to Fenway (took 15 mins).
