I loved rome, but definitely don’t need to be 3 nights there, I would extend your trip in Greece longer, Rome is busy and lots of people, and most of your time is spending money and waiting in line to get anywhere, don’t get me wrong the colosseum was amazing, but not worth the 3 hour wait in line. Rome you only need 2 days MAX

Wonderful place to visit, Glendalough Lake is Irelands Lake Louise to me.

If you take a month you could realistically do 2-3 or even 4 places. Depending what you want to get out of your holiday.
Germany - I highly recommend Munich. So much to do and see and drink.
Austria - you could rent a car and drive the country (literally from one side to the other was 4 hours). So many neat little towns.
In Italy I saw this sweet resort like place off of Venice. You could rent a cabin and it has pools and groceries and restaurants and everything you could need. Marina de Venezia. It looked great and I would love to try it out.
Greece is also a great location and super kid friendly.
Really I think it would be better to narrow down a few countries and go from there as there are so many suggestions for all across Europe.

I agree with Lauren. Unless the whole purpose of the trip is experiencing travel modes, I would narrow down to 3-4 places max and spend 4-5 nights each place. Especially with kids...then you’ll have time to just wander-I found my kids appreciated the unexpected finds over the high traffic “must-sees”

Giants Causeway, Dark Hedges, Game of Thrones tour, Newgrange anywhere is Ireland is absolutely beautiful and amazing to visit. So many castles as well. Leprechaun and Viking museums in Dublin.

I agree, Ireland was really easy to travel with kids. You can plan stops / travel dates with 2-3 hours travel at most with interesting landmarks and small towns along the way!! Enjoy!! Kinsale, Blarney Castle, Cliffs of Moher, Galway and anywhere in between. Getting off the beaten path is part of the fun! airbnb worked perfectly there as well.. really kind hosts!

I have a friend just got back yesterday. He's not on the group, so if you do have questions, let me know and I'll PM him for you.

Pretty much anywhere in the Highlands, Isle of Skye, North Coast 500, and Glencoe in Scotland

If you want to experience as much of Athens as possible in one day I’d recommend getting in touch with Athens Private Tours. Fotis is amazing and you won’t regret it!

Goodness you’re going to spend your whole holiday in airports and on trains. Pick a country, maybe 2.
