We used them in Ireland this past October and had no issues.

I rented from them in Italy a few years ago. All worked out well and rates were reasonable, even when dropping car at a different location. But when I checked them out for France last spring, their rental was fair, but their fee for dropping the car off at a different location was outrageous. Be sure to carefully read the small print way down in the agreement, because the big fee did not show up in the "rental cost" section, but buried about page 6.

I used them in Vegas last year... kind of a pain as they are across the street from the car rental center, not in it. That and they tried giving me a smaller vehicle than I had paid for.
Lois
was recommended to use in Turks and Caicos as their vehicles are new and not the average 15 year old vehicles. Will have to take a closer look.

Used in Germany picked up at 1

Sixt Car Rentals: Experiences and Reviews
Sixt is a well-known car rental company with a global presence, and many travelers have shared their experiences with using their services. If you're considering renting a car from Sixt, it's always a good idea to read reviews and gather insights from others who have used their services before.
Positive Experiences
Many customers have praised Sixt for their wide selection of vehicles, competitive pricing, and convenient pickup and drop-off locations. Several reviews highlight the company's friendly and efficient staff, who made the rental process smooth and hassle-free.
"I rented a car from Sixt for a week-long road trip, and I was impressed with their service. The staff at the counter was friendly and professional, and the rental process was quick and easy. The car was in excellent condition, and the rates were very reasonable."
- John D., Chicago
Negative Experiences
However, like any company, Sixt has also received some negative feedback from customers. Some common complaints include hidden fees, poorly maintained vehicles, and unhelpful customer service representatives.
"I had a disappointing experience with Sixt. The car I rented had visible scratches and dents, and the staff was dismissive when I raised concerns. Additionally, the final bill had several unexpected charges that were not clearly explained at the time of rental."
- Sarah M., London
Tips for a Smooth Rental Experience
If you decide to rent a car from Sixt, here are some tips to help ensure a positive experience:
- Read the rental agreement carefully and ask questions about any fees or charges you don't understand.
- Thoroughly inspect the vehicle for any existing damage before driving off the lot and document it with the staff.
- Consider purchasing additional insurance or a damage waiver for added protection.
- Be mindful of the rental agreement's terms and conditions, especially regarding mileage limits and fuel policies.
Ultimately, the decision to rent from Sixt depends on your specific needs and preferences. By researching and being an informed consumer, you can increase your chances of having a positive car rental experience with Sixt or any other company.
