I’m wondering where a nice place on this earth to visit would be in the middle of August. I want nice weather.
Europe? Mexico? Africa? No USA destinations plz.

Mexico is amazing in august if you love the heat.

Lake Chapala for one. Temp stays relatively the same year round. . . 25C. I live in Mexico and studied the whole country before we moved here.

Not all of Mexico is really hot in the summer.

Why not do a cruise....like ncl....from london up to norway? Shetland islands etc....

Maybe Sweden or Norway? It’s the warmest time of year there. I’d stay away from the Mediterranean and Adriatic coasts since half of Europe heads there in August.

They say some of the nicest beaches in the world are east, New Brunswick

Mid August Europe and Africa can be nice. I lived in England for a long time. We had good weather. Lots to see, eat, fun for shopping, night clubs theatres etc

I'm biased but you should check out Ireland if you like scenery, music, the pub scene and genuinely nice people. Sept is a good month to go. The weather is fine not much rain and the kids are all back in school.

United Kingdom is nice in August, or take a snow vacation in New Zealand!

Europeans travel in August its totally booked and busy.

Lithuania. I loved it. Much of Western Europe is in a heatwave at that time, I'd avoid it.

Portugal. Amazing weather, food, scenery, culture, port wine, it’s safe, and wonderful people. I’ve traveled all over the world and it’s one of my faves.

Not Mexico in the summer. I loooove Mexico but summer months are super humid and hot. It was so uncomfortable.

I went Africa in Sept a few years back, was beautiful, but if I could go anywhere in August it would be Europe...Ireland, Scotland, Italy...

Define what nice weather means to you? All of those places will be hot or very hot in August. Iceland would be temperate then I think.

Jaime Skillen The UK would have good weather around then, or Eastern Europe. I've been to Mexico on Aug; don't go unless you want 40 degree weather. Asia in August you will melt from heat plus humidity.
