We took our 3 and 1 year old girls to Europe this past summer and had an awesome time. We went to Bosnia (where we are from), Italy, Croatia and Slovenia and the hardest part about it all was the flight over.
Angie
Where in Croatia did you guys go?
It’s on my list of places to visit for sure!
Samra
Angie Rodríguez we went to Dubrovnik and area. So beautiful and the girls loved the water
Angie
Yes!! That’s where I’m thinking of going! We love the water too! Thank you!

For Africa I think I would only go to countries that do not have yellow fever. Many countries require proof of vaccination and I'm not sure if it's recommended for a 2 year old to get that one. When I got yellow fever vaccine it was a live virus and hurt a lot for days after.

Vietnam and the Philippines for ya with kiddies

Japan is good with a kid because it is very safe, clean, and organized.

We did Eastern Europe last summer with our 1 year old and 2 year old. Started in Germany and worked our way to Romania. We hit 6 countries in 18 days and had a blast. It was actually rather seamless because we took the train to every new place, the kids were happy because they were not restrained in plane seats or waiting at the airports for long periods of time. The only flight we took was from Budapest to Bucharest because we didn’t want to waste a full day/night on the train. We’ve also done Ireland, Mexico and Cuba with the kids.
Angie
Wow wow wow
Tell me about Rumania!! Is there really castles everywhere?
Aleyschi
Angie Rodríguez Romania was amazing, there are castles everywhere and the pace of life felt so relaxing. My kids LOVED Bratislava (slovakia). I would go back in a heart beat, I’ve never been to a more family oriented city and we have travelled extensively before kids and now with kids. I would seriously consider it if I were you. Budapest is also great for kids, lots of pools to swim in and the zoo of course. A river boat tour and lots of cool architecture.

Any country in Europe is amazing and super easy with a 2 year old. Poland and Hungary are both Incredible and very affordable.
We have seen many families with young kids in Thailand on our trips there but the environment is a bit harder to handle (temp, humidity etc).
Africa is great but it depends on how you want to travel. We rented a car in south Africa and loved it !! Namibia and Botswana would be easy to travel as well.
The world is your oyster!!! Enjoy

In Africa - Morocco! Just came back from there and had seen lots of people traveling with kids and even babies (met a couple in our hotel with 4 months old baby)

We did Portugal and Spain with a 3 year old and almost 7 month old at the time, as well as Croatia, Turkey and Cuba with young kids. I kept a blog about our trips to those places....and kids were a main focus if you're interested in checking out - Americanadiangal.wordpress.com However, I think like has been mentioned above the biggest thing with young kids is to take your time and not push too much sightseeing! We pretty much always stopped at a playground each day to give them some quality playtime.
